Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the original text, graphics, branding, layout, photographs, videos, icons, code and other materials published on www.orangecapmedia.com are owned by or licensed to Orange Cap Media and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Visitors may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit those materials for commercial use without prior written permission.

Ownership and licensing of project deliverables such as source code, UI designs, graphics, campaign assets, documentation and related materials depend on the accepted proposal, statement of work, master service agreement or other contract. Unless expressly transferred in writing, Orange Cap Media retains ownership of pre-existing materials incorporated into a deliverable and grants the client the licence or ownership rights stated in the commercial document.

Orange Cap Media may use pre-existing frameworks, templates, components, methodologies, libraries, internal tools and know-how in client projects. Such materials remain the property of Orange Cap Media or its licensors and may be reused in other engagements unless restricted by contract.

Projects may incorporate open-source software, commercial libraries, plugins, fonts, stock media, APIs and other third-party materials subject to their respective licence terms. The client is responsible for ongoing licence fees, renewals or usage limits associated with third-party services selected or approved for the project unless otherwise agreed.

The client represents that it has the necessary rights, licences and permissions for logos, photographs, videos, copy, data and other materials it supplies for use in a project. Orange Cap Media may rely on that representation when incorporating client-supplied materials into deliverables and is not responsible for unauthorised use of materials provided by the client.

If a person believes that content on the Orange Cap Media website or a published deliverable infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights, they may notify Orange Cap Media in writing at legal@orangecapmedia.com with sufficient detail to identify the work, the alleged infringement and contact information for the complainant.
